This position is a Hybrid working arrangement out of our Vancouver office.
Who You Are
We’re looking for enthusiastic and customer service focused Conveyancing Administrator (Internally called Deal Administrator) to come and join our growing team. As a Deal Administrator you will provide proactive high level support services to brokerage offices across Canada and accounting. They will be a key player responsible for managing the end-to-end process of real estate transactions, ensuring smooth coordination between parties and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue.
In This Role You Will:

Review legal documents, including Sales/ Lease/ Service and Fee agreement to ensure Trade Record data are correctly entered to the system.

Responsible for depositing and recording of all trust funds received that pertain to real estate deals.

Responsible for setting up of individual interest-bearing client accounts, and recording the interest earned on said individual client accounts.

Disburse funds according to the terms of the agreement and only to authorized parties. (commissions, co-brokers, excess funds, interest, etc.).

Regularly reconciling trust account records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with the Governmental regulations, including the Real Estate legislation of each Province, FINTRAC anti-money laundering (AML) requirements and internal controls.

Prepare/revise and remit commission invoice for deals as they become due and/or are revised.
What You’ll Bring:

1-3 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role.

Strong Accounting/bookkeeping background is required.

Experience in the Commercial real estate sector or a related industry is preferred
-
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook and required.
Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $54,563.00 to $70,000.00
Area/Location Specific: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
