The Conversion Specialist I will manage, develop, and execute assigned projects within the Implementation Department.  Projects include but are not limited to:

  • Software provider platform conversions
  • Integration modifications
  • Software versioning upgrades
  • Presentment changes

The main responsibility of the Conversion Specialist I is to analyze changes, scope the out, identify risk, assumptions, forecast schedule and prioritize assigned projects according to departmental policies and following guidance from the Conversions Team Lead.  The Specialist will analyze all new assigned projects have a complete analysis to ensure clients and partners are satisfied with the outcome.

The expectation is that the Conversion Specialists I will:

  • Analyze the integration type and scope of work for new projects
  • Work with IT and product development to have a full understanding of the project and integration changes
  • Document integration plan and provide statement of work to biller. The Conversion Team Lead will support this activity.
  • Forecast time to completion
  • Manage project plans and execute deliverables
  • Maintain communication with all stakeholders through the life of the project
  • Create and present statement of work for each project
  • Maintain an excellent relationship and open line of communication with IT, sales, billers, software partners and all members of the Operations team
  • Coordinate all activities related to bringing a project live including IT, Marketing, software and printing partners, Customer Success, Training, and the biller

Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • 1-3+ years of experience managing SaaS projects with a primary focus on data conversion and system migrations.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale data conversions where customers transition from one core system to another, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Expertise in batch file integrations and structured data processing, including handling .txt, .csv, XML, and JSON formats for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Proficiency in secure data exchange protocols, including SFTP, API-based transfers, and database migration techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret API specifications, database schemas, and file formats to facilitate seamless integration between legacy and new systems.
  • Strong experience in data mapping, validation, deduplication, and transformation to ensure successful migration with minimal downtime and data loss.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills to identify, debug, and resolve data inconsistencies and integration issues.
  • Experience in merchant services, electronic payments, or bill pay is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create detailed technical documentation, present findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and lead multiple projects under strict deadlines.

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

$70,000$80,000 USD
