Job Description: 

We’re looking for a Conversion Senior Coordinator to join our team at MBPS. This role plays a crucial role in managing the end-to-end process for new business cases at John Hancock. This includes overseeing the processing of applications and recordkeeping agreements through to the assignment of contract numbers. The position also involves setting up all aspects of client information, investments, service features, and other onboarding requirements to ensure a seamless transition for new clients.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Index processes while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Capture and input information into systems following established procedures.
  • Exercise good judgment and conduct thorough checks to prevent financial errors.
  • Suggest process improvements and contribute to enhancing team metrics.
  • Handle sensitive and regulated funds with care.
  • Meet company service level expectations consistently.
  • Be available for overtime during high-volume periods, including some Saturdays and holidays.
  • Support colleagues and other teams with production tasks as needed.
  • Manage time off effectively, especially during peak times.
  • Expand the team's expertise in handling various functions.

Qualifications: 

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written communication, proactive problem-solving, and effective multitasking.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand basic insurance processes; knowledge of life insurance and group benefit products is a plus.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiarity with product and process protocols specific to Manulife and JH RPS.
  • Go-Live Requirements: Pass weekly tests on Manulife products, understand JH RPS terminologies and processes, and proficient in email communication.
  • Assessment Tools: Weekly product/process tests, process simulations, and a training verification exam.
  • Desired Competencies: Clear communication, collaboration, adaptability, execution excellence, and continuous self-improvement.
  • Basic Requirements: Open to fresh graduates or those with BPO experience, pass math and English exams, business writing exam, and demonstrate keyboarding skills of 35 WPM with 90-95% accuracy.
