Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager

We are looking for an impact-driven CRO aficionado to join our team.

If you are a strategic thinker who leverages an intentional approach to assessing, optimizing, testing, and engineering optimal digital experiences to enable meaningful impact on the customer and business goals, we would love to hear from you.
 

As the CRO owner, you’ll drive maximizing our digital experience performance across multiple touchpoints, including the 8x8’s website, campaign and paid media experiences.
As part of your quick-win and strategic initiatives, you’ll proactively analyze available data, assess and test digital experiences and identify high-value opportunities aligned with the customer and business goals. 

 

In addition, you’ll drive and own user research and relevant types of user testing methods, analyze test results, distill relevant insights, share them with the team and stakeholders, and make data- and impact-driven recommendations. 

You’ll collaborate closely with the UX, SEO and web development teams, as well as other marketing stakeholders.

The efforts you’ll own and drive:

  • Drive CRO strategy and execution

  • Assess targeted and end-to-end digital experiences within individual touchpoints, i.e. website, chat, landing pages, etc., and the entire digital ecosystem to identify opportunities for streamlining UX and maximizing conversion rates, MQLs and SQLs - both within the desktop and mobile experiences 

  • Analyze data and extract relevant insights

  • Engineer CRO solutions, both quick wins and strategic ones

  • Own the process of implementing suggested improvements while closely collaborating with the UX and SEO team, web developers and other stakeholders

  • Propose, drive and own relevant user testing and user research to identify meaningful insights, while leveraging optimal methodologies

  • Create and share data and user research insights to support both the CRO and UX team efforts

  • Own the process of ensuring compliance with legal requirements, including data privacy

  • Prioritize tasks and initiatives based on business priorities and opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and other stakeholders

  • Proactively communicate CRO effort status, results and recommendations program status against relevant conversation metrics

  • Conduct training sessions and support team members on CRO best practices and insights

Experience we are looking for in an ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Marketing/Computer Science

  • 5+ years of CRO experience with a proven track record, desirably in B2B Communications and Contact Center SaaS companies

  • Chat UX/CRO optimization

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strategic thinking as a business owner

  • Close collaboration and clear communication with team members and stakeholders

  • Conversion Rate Optimization

  • Solid web analytics skills (Google Analytics 4/Premium, Adobe)

  • Data analysis, interpretation and insight extraction

  • UX design experience, principles and best practices

  • User research and advanced methodologies/platforms

  • SEO

  • Heat mapping

  • Mobile experience optimization

  • HTML/CSS/Java a plus

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$103,125.00 - $171,875.00
