At Blip, we are looking for a Conversational Designer with a UX focus who combines creativity, strategic thinking, and technical knowledge to design conversational experiences that are effective and aligned with the needs of the business, product, and end users.
This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in product, development, and business to define, design, and optimize conversational flows (chatbots, smart contacts, etc.) that deliver real value to users.
Main Responsibilities:
Define and structure conversational products using user-centered methodologies (Design Thinking).
Design conversation flows and natural experiences between humans and systems, ensuring consistency, tone, and clarity.
Develop the strategic vision of the product, proposing and justifying design decisions based on data, insights, and business objectives.
Collaborate with agile teams to define and prioritize an MVP and ensure its proper evolution.
Drive continuous improvement of the product through interaction analysis, performance metrics, and user feedback.
Coordinate and manage design projects, ensuring proper prioritization and follow-up of deliverables.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computational Linguistics, Anthropology, or related fields.
Proven experience in conversational design (chatbots, voice assistants, conversational AI), excluding web or app design.
Design Thinking certification.
Proficiency in Figma and other collaborative design tools.
Advanced English proficiency.
Knowledge and application of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Excellent communication skills, both with technical and non-technical teams.
Strong project management, prioritization, and coordination abilities.
Critical thinking, empathy, and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with conversational design platforms.
Previous experience in SaaS environments or technology companies.
