Position Summary
The Controls Solutions Specialist II provides technical support for lighting control projects and independently manages small to mid-size projects. This role serves as a key resource to sales teams and customers by delivering accurate designs, quotations, and documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support sales teams with lighting controls design and application recommendations.
- Independently review project plans and specifications.
- Develop control system layouts, riser diagrams, and sequences of operation.
- Prepare accurate quotations, budgets, and bills of materials.
- Coordinate directly with manufacturers on technical and product requirements.
- Review and process submittals and shop drawings.
- Troubleshoot controls issues remotely and coordinate support as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation.
- Stay current on products, systems, and energy code requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of lighting controls and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications independently.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
Skills Required
