- Lead and support RCA and PAC investigations involving turbine operability and controls behavior.
- Analyze fleet operational data to identify emerging risks, performance opportunities, and defect trends.
- Evaluate control algorithms related to load mitigation, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
- Drive improvements to validation strategies that verify operational behavior under representative field conditions.
- Identify defect escape pathways and implement preventive quality improvements.
- Support development of testing methodologies that improve detection of operability-related defects.
- Partner with Controls Development teams to strengthen requirements and validation coverage.
- Collaborate with Fleet Performance Management to understand field performance trends and customer impacts.
- Evaluate availability, downtime, forced outages, nuisance trips, alarm frequency, restart performance, and customer escalations to identify quality improvement opportunities.
- Translate field learnings into engineering recommendations and validation improvements.
- Support release readiness reviews through independent quality assessment of operability risks.
- Apply Lean methodologies and data-driven decision making to improve product quality and operational performance.
- Leverage AI-enabled analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
- Minimum 5 years of controls engineering experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
