POSITION SUMMARY
•    This position develops control systems project design to meet all required input data and requirements for producing sustainable and functional control systems and building equipment supervision design. Manages engineering model design in Revit and prepares standard control documentation such as plans, sections, elevation views, I/O lists, riser diagrams, sequence of operations, equipment technical specifications, and material requirements. ·
•     The scope of work for this position includes:
o    Leading BMS documentation set
o    Equipment and material specifications
o    Creating "for construction" documentation
o    BMS equipment setup (field equipment, network switches and PLCs, servers and operator workstation)
o    Creating As-built documentation
o    Support during FAT
o    Support during on-site commissioning
o    Design/validation of fire alarm system documentation set
o    Design/validation of security system documentation set · 
•    Design of BMS systems for modular buildings (small/medium scale) according to input data, material and equipment specifications, and creation of construction documentation for Global AND/OR India region.
•    Supporting internal testing and FAT in factory and/or SAT based on site location
•    Supporting commissioning team on-site during commissioning process (Global and/or India Region). 
•    Defining fire alarm system design requirements 
•    Defining security system design requirements
•    Engineer with Data Center Projects experience/background or similar Critical Infrastructure experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Creation of conceptual and detailed project solution 
•    Creation of electrical engineering project documentation based on input data (information, requirements, standards): riser and network diagrams, I/O lists, application and functional diagrams, sequence of operations, fire alarm system project drawings, security systems drawings and descriptions, instructions, material submissions, presentations and marketing materials, etc. 
•    During design, must follow and consider international, national, and company standards and good engineering practices · Using knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements set by project tasks 
•    Leading design control and mentoring other colleagues 
•    Participating in kick-off meeting, regular team meetings, and site coordination meetings
•     Reporting project status to chief project engineer and project manager 
•    Proactive cooperation with all team members during project execution 
•    Control and support of BMS, fire alarm, and security systems integrators 
•    Communicates with stakeholders in North America, India, EMEA or Australia based on project & time overlap.
•    Initiating Request for Information (RFI) when additional clarification is needed 
•    Creating defined documents according to document list (DLIST) 
•    Communicates with stakeholders in North America, India, EMEA or Australia based on project & time overlap.
•    Checking and approving hall documentation created by subcontractors
•    Determining material and service descriptions needed for project execution 
•    Specifying required certificates for materials to be ordered 
•    Supporting suppliers with additional information during bid phase (bid submission) 
•    Providing technical approval for received supplier bids 
•    Providing technical support to subcontractors and installers during production/assembly 
•    Collaboration with production team and on-site implementation team 
•    Collaboration with site manager during assembly, providing technical solutions for raised questions 
•    Collaboration with Quality Control during component/system quality control and site assembly 
•    Collaboration with commissioning engineer on test documentation creation
•    Leading role in internal testing and support during FAT 
•    Creating installation and maintenance documentation 
•    In factory, on-site and/or remote commissioning and implementation of BMS
AUTHORITIES: 
•    Review and approval of project documentation for BMS, fire alarm, and security documentation 
•    Approving/rejecting technically received supplier bids 
•    Approving/rejecting proposed changes by subcontractors on approved workshop documentation

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Education: B.E/Btech in Electrical engineer (Automation) [OR Diploma with +3 years of experience] OR ME/Mtech
•    7+ years of experience 
•    Active knowledge of English language(oral and written), Hindi (preferred)
•     Software - Revit, AutoCAD, EPLAN, SQL, PLC/DDC software package, SCADA software package
•     Technical skills - Programming, SCADA, PLC, DDC, Modbus/SNMP/BACnet protocols, ethernet networks 
•    Other skills - independence, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, organization, creativity, teamwork, management and coordination of other projects assigned to control engineers

Skills Required

  • B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Automation) or ME/M.Tech; Diploma +3 years experience accepted
  • 7+ years of relevant controls engineering experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship provided)
  • Active knowledge of English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of Hindi
