Level I:
- Estimated annual base pay: $73,520.00 (minimum) - $91,900.00 (midpoint) - $110,280.00 (maximum)
Level II:
- Estimated annual base pay: $87,600.00 (minimum) - $109,500.00 (midpoint) - $131,400.00 (maximum)
- All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re Controls Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our Advanced Manufacturing team as a Controls Engineer. This role focus is performing routine functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of controls engineering tasks.
What You Will Be Doing
Level I
- Designing and updating controls systems, including but not limited to active safety controls, assembly and test automation controls.
- Ensuring that designs are capable of fulfilling usability and supportability requirements
- Support smart devices that include electric torque drivers, vision systems, pick-to-light, etc.
- Design and update SCADA applications and HMI applications.
Level II
- Designing and updating controls systems, including but not limited to active safety controls, assembly and test automation controls.
- Ensuring that designs are capable of fulfilling usability and supportability requirements
- Support smart devices that include electric torque drivers, vision systems, pick-to-light, etc.
- Design and update SCADA applications and HMI applications.
- Implements automated equipment design projects with industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yields.
What We Are Looking For
Level I
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline is required
- Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace engineering degrees are strongly preferred.
- Previous internship or professional experience in a related industry is desired
Level II
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline is required
- 2 years’ experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace engineering degrees are strongly preferred.
- Previous internship or professional experience in a related industry is desired
