Level I:

  • Estimated annual base pay:  $73,520.00 (minimum) - $91,900.00 (midpoint) - $110,280.00 (maximum)

Level II:

  • Estimated annual base pay:  $87,600.00 (minimum) - $109,500.00 (midpoint) - $131,400.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re Controls Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  Woodward is looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our Advanced Manufacturing team as a Controls Engineer. This role focus is performing routine functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of controls engineering tasks.

What You Will Be Doing 

Level I

  • Designing and updating controls systems, including but not limited to active safety controls, assembly and test automation controls.
  • Ensuring that designs are capable of fulfilling usability and supportability requirements
  • Support smart devices that include electric torque drivers, vision systems, pick-to-light, etc.
  • Design and update SCADA applications and HMI applications.

Level II

  • Designing and updating controls systems, including but not limited to active safety controls, assembly and test automation controls.
  • Ensuring that designs are capable of fulfilling usability and supportability requirements
  • Support smart devices that include electric torque drivers, vision systems, pick-to-light, etc.
  • Design and update SCADA applications and HMI applications.
  • Implements automated equipment design projects with industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yields.

What We Are Looking For 

Level I

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline is required
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace engineering degrees are strongly preferred.
  • Previous internship or professional experience in a related industry is desired 

Level II

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline is required
  • 2 years’ experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace engineering degrees are strongly preferred.
  • Previous internship or professional experience in a related industry is desired
