Job Description:
BW Converting Solutions is looking to recruit an exceptional Electrical Engineer to support our continued growth in a very positive, highly team orientated environment.
Assist design team in machinery design from inception to completion that are extensive and complex involving original design work and selection of components and materials. Typically responsible for the development of engineering specifications and original design concepts. May provide detailed technical analysis of equipment. May provide machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies through PLIP programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation
- Assist with design/alteration of electrical equipment
- Assist with testing and debugging equipment to isolate defects
- Prepare layouts using CAD tools
- Assist in evaluation of designs; make engineering changes
- Prepare basic schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM)
- Assist in the evaluation of new parts
- May assist in supporting manufacturing/assembly teams
- Manage and maintain product/project files
- Maintain project file
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
