Pay Rate: Up to $84.09/hr. DOE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
- Create and modify PLC logic (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) to meet operational requirements
- Develop and implement HMI interfaces and operator displays for monitoring and control
- Specify and configure industrial sensors, actuators, and instrumentation
- Develop electrical schematics and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of control systems on new and existing equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (NFPA 79, UL, IEC, OSHA, etc.) and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and automation upgrades
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams
- Maintain system backups, revision control, and documentation for all control program
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering preferred
- Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development (FactoryTalk, Ignition, Wonderware, etc.)
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.)
- Familiarity with robotics integration, motion control, or distributed control systems (DCS) is a plus
