Essential Responsibilities:
· Design of custom protection and control solutions, including physical cabinet layouts, schematics, logic diagrams, wiring/interconnection, grounding, cable schedules and other required custom control hardware for custom FACTS solutions for orders and proposals.
· Develop Bills of Material for all designs, ensure consistency and quality throughout all design documentation.
· Contribute to continuous improvement of standard control documentation for FACTS equipment including protection and control systems.
· Coordinate with offshore design resources and the project team members on technical matters to meet project specifications, cost control and schedule objectives.
· Interface with internal and external team members such as principal engineers, control engineers, civil engineers, electrical designers, project managers, engineering leaders and support organizations.
· Facilitate the development and execute cost reduction programs that vary in scope and may include low-cost vendor selection, design improvements, process improvements, automation, and new product introduction.
· Excellent personal computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
· Support project quality procedures and initiatives including aspects of ISO9001.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or an Associate's Degree In Electrical Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience in the specific field of mechanical controls design.
· Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% as required, which may include remote locations and international travel, and be willing to comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
