CONTROLLING Specialist
Responsibilities
- Actively participate and support in the development and implementation of the budget /monthly rolling estimates, in order to secure that the financial objectives are met.
- To carry out all month closure processes in a timely and efficient manner to ensure that HQ reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare HQ reporting accurate and timly manner
- Prepare and distribute management reports monthly showing actual cost v budget and variance analysis to the management team.
- Provide support to the CFO to ensure that financial analysis is relevant, accurate and timely to facilitate accurate decision-making.
- Review completeness and accuracy of the income statement and balance sheet including reconciling prepayments, accruals and asset register and other related balance sheet items
- Support in preparing of monthly accruals
- Examine and analyze cost allocations and charges
- Support interim and annual statutory and internal audits
- Support compliance with approval processes for incoming and outgoing invoices, purchase orders and statements of work
- Provide financial information to managers
- Assist managers with any ad-hoc projects and analysis
Requirements
- 2-3 years of financial and/or management accounting experience
- Degree in business or finance or accountancy
- Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
- Fluency in English, written and verbal, fluent Hungarian knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
