The Controlling Enablement UST Junior Financial Analyst is an entry-level role within the regional controlling community, supporting global training, reporting processes, and system adoption using TM1 BOOST (Sanofi’s global financial planning tool). This role acts as a bridge between finance teams (Controllers and FBPs) and technical support teams, helping ensure effective use of systems and alignment with global standards.

The role provides strong exposure to financial planning processes, data analytics, and global stakeholders, offering an excellent opportunity to build technical and business capabilities within a dynamic and transforming environment.

Main responsibilities
  • Support training and knowledge sharing on global controlling processes and guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with reporting timelines and support communication with stakeholders
  • Assist in understanding KPIs, financial processes, and reporting rules within TM1
  • Perform data consistency checks and support validation activities
  • Prepare basic data analysis and visualizations to support stakeholders
  • Support adoption and usage of dashboards (Excel, Power BI)
  • Ensure consistency across multiple systems and data sources (ERP, Workday, reporting tools, etc.)
  • Support manual data uploads and adjustments within TM1
  • Identify trends and inconsistencies in financial data and support corrective actions
  • Assist in resolving system issues through structured analysis and support to end users
  • Help differentiate between system issues and user errors, escalating when necessary
  • Support key users across finance and business teams, understanding their needs
  • Assist in managing user requests based on priority and business impact
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and support them in resolving operational queries
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Provide day-to-day support to end users on controlling tools and processes
  • Support development and update of training materials (presentations, guides, FAQs)
  • Participate in delivering training sessions tailored to user needs
  • Manage and respond to user queries through ticketing systems in line with SLAs
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Support workshops and projects aimed at improving analytical tools and processes
  • Contribute to standardization and best practice sharing across teams
About you

Experience

  • Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in Finance, FP&A, data analytics, or similar roles
  • Internship experience in finance or analytics is highly valued
  • Interest in financial systems, data analysis, and planning processes

Soft & Technical skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new technical and financial skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive attitude and curiosity to explore and analyze data
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Familiarity with TM1, SAP, or similar tools is a plus
  • Interest in data visualization and analytical tools

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields

Languages

  • English: Intermediate to advanced (B2+ required)
  • Additional languages (French/Portuguese) are a plus
