IVIX is a fast-growing tech startup transforming the way governments identify hidden economic activity using advanced data intelligence and AI-driven technology. We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Controller to join our Finance team and support the company’s continued growth.

IVIX is the first AI-powered solution designed specifically to address a $20 trillion problem: illuminating the global shadow economy. IVIX leverages Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and highly advanced, cutting-edge technologies to reveal illicit business activity around the world, empowering governments in their mission to fight financial crime and close the tax gap.

IVIX employs a variety of AI tools (deep neural networks, large language models, and predictive modeling) as well as advanced data analytics to rapidly pinpoint large-scale illicit business activity, so government authorities can combat financial crime in the digital age.

Led by security, tech, tax and financial crime experts, and advised by a diverse team of former IRS commissioners, IVIX works with dozens of state and federal governments globally.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reporting packages, and other financial reports
• Lead monthly and quarterly closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes, including ongoing monthly and quarterly updates
• Conduct BvA and variance analysis, providing actionable financial insights to management
• Monitor and control financial transactions, including AP, AR, billing, collections, and cash flow management
• Maintain and oversee accounting records and reporting processes in Priority and QBO
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the company to support business objectives
• Support tax preparation, audits, and ongoing work with external auditors.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
• Work closely with the CFO on strategic and ad hoc finance projects in a fast-paced startup environment

• CPA certified, preferably from one of the Big 4 accounting firms
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a global high-tech company during a growth stage
• Experience with high-tech companies, startups, and US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Experience working in fast-growing environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Strong proficiency in Priority, QBO,NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• AI-peeled - Proven experience in utilizing AI in finance processes.  
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision, hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
