About This Role
We are a private, dynamic company seeking an energetic, intuitive, and hands-on accounting and financial professional capable of guiding our next phase of growth. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. CPA certification is preferred.
Key Responsibilities of the Controller
- Accounting: Processing and supervision of all accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
- Analysis: Development of a variety of financial and accounting reports, including spending and costing analysis
- Treasury Management: Continuous cash flow planning and reporting thereof
- Budgeting and Forecasts: Preparation of annual budget and related forecasts
- Auditing and Internal Controls: Maintenance of effective internal controls within established guidelines; auditing of accounting records periodically
- Assist with external tax compliance and planning
- Recruit and develop accounting and finance team as transaction/activity levels require
Location
In person, at our offices in the Chandler/Tempe area.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA license preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Experience managing month-end close
- Experience in manufacturing environments a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Must be able to ensure accurate and timely results and work independently
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and professionally
- QuickBooks and strong Excel and system skills required

- $135k to $175k salary based on experience and qualifications
