As an Entity Controller here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial reporting, compliance, and controllership functions for a specific legal entity within our organization.
You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Please note all new hires to Honeywell will be required to work fully onsite for the first 90 days.
In this role, you will impact the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and support business decisions through insightful financial analysis and controls management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements for the assigned entity in compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the month-end and year-end close processes ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Develop and implement entity-specific accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and regional finance to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering their development and engagement.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience in accounting or controllership roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proven expertise in managing financial close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls for legal entities.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial consolidation tools to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Ability to lead and develop accounting teams, driving process improvements and adherence to best practices.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and finance stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or controllership roles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members effectively.
