We are looking for a Controller who will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our Israeli entity while partnering closely with the U.S. Controller.
This role will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate and timely financial reporting, manage Israel-based accounts payable and payroll functions, and support both Israeli and U.S. accounting requirements.
What You'll Do?Israel Entity Accounting
- Oversee all ongoing accounting activities for the Israeli entity, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Israeli entity
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other local vendors.
- A critical part of this role will be supporting the implementation of NetSuite for the Israeli entity and helping transition accounting processes in-house.
AP, Payroll & Operational Management
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle for the Israeli entity, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment execution.
- Oversee Israeli payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing and compliance with employment and tax laws.
- Work cross-functionally with HR, operations, and outsourced accounting teams as needed.
Systems & Process Implementation
- Support the rollout and configuration of NetSuite for the Israeli entity.
- Help design and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls as accounting functions move in-house.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows.
U.S. Accounting Support
- Assist the U.S. Controller with monthly close activities, reconciliations, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Participate in cross-entity projects and consolidation efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA a must
- 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 experience required. Experience in a multinational tech company is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with accounting system implementation- a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AP, payroll, and month-end close processes.
- Excellent Excel skills; familiarity with modern finance tools preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, scaling environment across multiple environment.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
