How you will make an impact:
As a Controller, you will head our corporate accounting function, overseeing general ledger management, treasury operations, ACH processing, and financial controls. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all company entities. You’ll collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support clean audits and timely filings, while partnering with the financial planning and analysis team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Schedule: This is a flexible hybrid position, Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm CST.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Advanced degree, MBA or MS, preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant designation.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally within a multi-entity organization or professional employer organization (PEO).
- Proven track record of managing audits, financial reporting and compliance at a senior level, including consolidation of multiple entities and interaction with boards or executive leadership.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi‑state payroll and tax regulations.
- Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams, implement internal controls and process improvements, collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
