We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Controller. The Controller will be working Onsite from our Conshohocken Pennsylvania office.
The Controller will oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for the Tarkett Sports Construction Mid- Atlantic. The ideal Candidate has experience in the construction sector and expertise in financial management, project accounting and team leadership.

What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and Tarkett requirements. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews, providing insights and corrective recommendations.
Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, banking, and cash flow management.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Coordinate audits.
HR & Benefits Administration: Manage employee master data, benefits programs, and payroll setup, ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws.
Team Leadership: Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Strategic Support: Provide financial insights for decision-making and manage insurance administration.
Experience & Education Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (CPA preferred).
3+ years of financial management experience, including 2+ years in construction.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Knowledge of Procore construction platform
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Resourceful, problem-solver, driven and dynamic.
