Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team that encompasses all accounting operations, AP, AR and Payroll
- Manage the month end closes
- Prepare, review and analyze financials for distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee cost accounting analysis
- Lead annual audits, AOP and internal forecasts
- Maintain current and establish new accounting and finance internal controls and SOPs
- Bring about further automation and efficiencies in the department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of experience in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple accounting staff
- Experience working in manufacturing (i.e. inventory and cost accounting)
- Exposure to full cycle accounting and operations
- Experience with month end close, annual audit, budgeting, financial reporting
- Oracle ERP experience desired
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented, organized and good time management
- Good Analytical Thinking Skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and drive to rise to a new challenge every day
