US Wind, Maryland's leader in offshore wind development, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join our growing team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support our development activities.

Requirements:

Project Management Experience: The ideal candidate must possess a solid background in project management, with specialized experience in a real estate development or construction company. Demonstrated experience in successfully navigating the complexities of these fields is essential.

Financial Tracking and Reporting: Candidates should be proficient in monitoring and managing financial and banking transactions. This includes a comprehensive understanding of tracking both incoming and outgoing funds. Generating accurate and insightful financial reports is a crucial skill for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Financial Oversight: Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective financial planning, execution, and control within construction and development projects.

Forecasting: Providing accurate forecasts and financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Reporting: Generate timely and comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key metrics and financial performance related to ongoing multiple projects.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the inflow and outflow of funds, ensuring liquidity and financial stability for project activities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.

Project management background, specifically emphasizing real estate development, collaborating with developers, and/or involvement in construction projects.

Proficiency in financial tracking, reporting tools, and relevant software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
