You'll support the Regional Controller in strengthening financial governance, internal controls, and compliance across the South & Eastern Europe, helping ensure the integrity of our financial operations in a fast-paced, international environment.

What you’ll do as Controller Specialist:
Partner with and support the Regional Controller on internal controls governance and compliance activities across the region, support SOX testing through evidence collection and documentation;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance controls effectiveness and support a culture of governance excellence, ensuring compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks, robust governance and approval processes;
Coordinate and manage Group external audits under US GAAP being the first point of contact of the auditor and the shared service center;
Oversee statutory filings, including tax submissions and local regulatory filings.
You are:
An experienced finance, accounting, internal controls, audit, or compliance professional with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience working in a US financial environment, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance, internal controls, governance frameworks, and audit requirements.
Experienced in managing Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
Detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven, with the confidence to challenge non-compliance where required.
Passionate about continuous improvement and collaborating with stakeholders across an international business.
