We're looking for a Controller I – Adhesives to serve as the primary finance partner for our Adhesives manufacturing operations. In this highly visible role, you'll collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to provide financial insights that improve profitability, optimize manufacturing performance, and support strategic business decisions.

What You'll Do

As the finance partner for our Adhesives manufacturing operations, you will:

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Prepare and present monthly financial results, key performance metrics, and variance analyses
  • Lead monthly forecasting and support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Develop financial models to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and profitability
Drive Manufacturing Finance
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and communicate key business drivers
  • Maintain standard costs, bills of material (BOMs), routings, and inventory valuation
  • Monitor manufacturing KPIs including efficiency, yield, scrap, productivity, and inventory turns
  • Support inventory controls and physical inventory processes
Partner with the Business
  • Serve as the trusted finance partner for Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership
  • Validate productivity improvements and cost savings initiatives
  • Support pricing analysis, product costing, and profitability analysis
  • Provide financial guidance for operational improvement projects
Support Continuous Improvement
  • Assist with capital planning, project justification, and ROI analysis
  • Track savings from continuous improvement initiatives and Carlisle Operating System (COS) projects
  • Improve reporting, automate financial processes, and enhance data quality
  • Support Vision 2030 strategic initiatives
Ensure Financial Accuracy & Compliance
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
  • Support internal and external audit activities
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to build relationships and influence business decisions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory accounting, or operations finance
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and standard costing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
  • Experience with financial modeling, scenario planning, and data visualization
  • Background supporting manufacturing operations or continuous improvement initiatives
