About Intenseye:Intenseye is a pioneering AI company, revolutionizing enterprise and mid-market customer operations by addressing long-standing industry challenges. With proven product-market fit and a rapidly growing customer base, we are scaling our deployments globally and seeking an Implementation Manager to ensure a seamless and successful rollout for our enterprise customers.
Position Overview:
As a our first Controller hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring accounting compliance and supporting intenseye’s expansion efforts. This role reports directly to Head of Finance.
The role:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual close package, including but not limited to consolidated US GAAP financial statements, account reconciliations, departmental allocations and other supporting documentation for US and foreign subsidiaries
- Own Procure-to-Pay, Quote-to-Cash, and Payroll workflows - vendor & T&E management, new customer intake, billing & collections, and payroll processingOversee audit process with external auditors for annual US GAAP financial statement audit; prepare / compile supporting documentation
- Collaborate with Turkey based Finance Manager and outsourced global business operations firm on international accounting and business needs, including but not limited to month end close for international subsidiaries, currency remeasurements, statutory reporting, and transfer pricing
- Document accounting policies and procedures, including technical memos and process documentsIdentify areas of improvement across accounting & finance and drive optimization and increased efficiency/control
- Take ownership of general projects across accounting/finance/operations as needed
- Support Head of Finance during forecasting and budget planning cycles
- Ensure company compliance with US tax laws and regulations; including coordinating with external tax firm on corporate filings
Sound like you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Collaborative mindset, strong written & verbal skills
- 6+ years experience, including at least 3+ years working with (or at) Series A-C, venture backed software businesses, preferably enterprise B2B software-as-a-service
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP technical accounting principles including ASC 606, ASC 340, ASC 985, and ASC 842
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4 or other national firm)
- CPA required
- Hybrid onsite 3 days per week in NYC office
- Experience with Netsuite (including implementations) a strong plus
