KBR is looking for a CSE – Senior Engineer who will be responsible for executing process control system scope including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers for small, medium, and large oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the detail engineering execution project phase.

  • Use strong relationship building skills to interact with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, project controls, all other departments, and the client as required.

  • Execute the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards to achieve project objectives

  • Create requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts lists

  • Review supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance with the purchase orders

  • Communicate both technical and commercial issues to the lead engineer for change management

  • Ensure all project documentation is completed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • 3+ years of industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience

  • 3+ years of experience in technical control systems and/or instrumentation engineering

  • Total Minimum 5 years of experience

  • EIT required

  • Experience with process control specifications and control system design

  • Experience with managing suppliers

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Preferred Education & Skills:

  • PE or P.Eng.

  • Experience in process control systems and network architectures: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS

  • Experience in instrumentation

  • Experience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedules

  • Knowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineering
