Control Point Coordinator – 1st Shift- Stanley Access Technologies, Greenfield IN

Stanley Access Technologies seeks a self-motivated, results-driven team player to fill our Control Point Coordinator position. This role will perform a variety of tasks, including material handling, inventory coordination, cycle counting, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations. This role requires the ability to work independently or in a team environment, with minimal supervision, to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products through the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of process flow, quality standards, and ERP systems, as well as a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) as needed, following proper training and operating requirements.
  • Perform transactions in the ERP system to track inventory and production flow.
  • Package, crate, bundle, and prepare products for shipping and receiving.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, ensuring all tasks meet established quality and quantity requirements.
  • Resolve problems, make recommendations, and escalate issues as necessary to leadership on movement of product both incoming and outgoing.
  • Root cause inventory accuracy related issues to ensure the steady flow of product through the factory.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in material/inventory control or related field, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if required).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity; ability to use fingers and hands to feel, handle, or squeeze; reach with hands and arms; twist/turn body; perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move/lift up to 75+ pounds, utilizing team lifting or tools to move material and product.
  • Adaptable and able to adjust to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.

Additional Detail

  • Standard schedule is Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime during the week and Saturdays when needed.
