Job Description
The Suitability Control Program Management team (Suitability CPM) operates as the Centre of Excellence for PB's Suitability framework and is part of the PB Controls (1st Line of Defence) organization. We focus on ongoing compliance with Suitability and related regulations in a scalable and consistent manner. We partner with Business, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Supervision, Technology, Operations, Audit across Asia and EMEA locations, to design, implement and oversee end to end controls. Our responsibilities are two-fold, namely change management and BAU activities.
Change management refers to the following activities: define strategic roadmap, manage budgeting and ongoing prioritization, perform project management and deliver toolset/process enhancements.
BAU (business as usual) activities are operational in nature: track/escalate incidents, manage stakeholder communications, ensure governance and co-ordinate audits/regulatory exams.
Job Responsibilities':
We are looking for a Vice President or Associate Program Manager who enjoys designing pragmatic solutions that address meet regulatory expectations, collaborates across functions, seniorities and time-zones, and can influence senior stakeholders to make decisions. The role will be based in one of PB's EMEA or India locations.

  • Publish and review daily/weekly performance metrics pertaining to the function, identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels or expected behavior. Ensure follow-up and escalate all aging items.
  • Manage group email boxes and SharePoint queues to ensure queries are resolved/responded to within a timeframe and manner sensitive to the urgency of the event, thereby maintaining internal/external client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve client issues.
  • Monitor and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with clients to discuss performance metrics and drive improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies..


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Possess 3+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrate awareness of Suitability regulations in Asia or EMEA (a plus).
  • Exhibit awareness of financial products ranging from stocks and bonds to complex derivatives and alternatives.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's/equivalent (MBA, CFA, FRM).
  • Utilize project management and organizational skills to complete deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Apply basic programming and data-analytical skills (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, Python).
  • Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging across seniority levels.
