Control Manager - Analyst

As a Control Management Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities

• Work on oversight and monitoring of Reg W transaction balances (between Bank & their Affiliates) performing Limit Analysis.
• Perform various controls to ensure all the Reg. W exposures have been reported timely.
• Work on ASAP attestation, Limit Review, Quarterly Supervisory Review, Quarter End Deck.
• Work with Central Reg W team to implement controls and monitoring to ensure on daily and/or weekend balance reporting requirement, affiliate breakout check, etc
• Resolve/ Assist/ Guide Reg W stakeholders issues/queries for new Reg W covered transaction and Incident write up process for Reg W incidents and their ancillary activities.
• Submit information to the Firmwide Reg W Lead on purchase of affiliate securities during the Board Reporting process.
• Support special/ ad hoc projects, as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum 4 years accounting/finance experience minimum
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting/Finance
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building and influencing skills to with the ability to effectively partner with all levels of management across numerous teams.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups) and PowerPoint, Microsoft Access desirable
• Audit, internal control, product or financial control experience preferred
• Experience designing applications a plus
