Collaborate with industry leaders and make a significant impact on our compliance and operational resilience.
As a Control Management Licensing and Designations Vice President in the Central Controls Office, you will spearhead the delivery of control management across four key pillars: Risk Identification & Assessment, Control Design & Evaluation, Issues & Control Deficiencies, and Control Governance & Reporting. You will collaborate with Commercial&Investment Banking businesses to enhance our operational risk and control environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and monitor risk and control frameworks.
- Lead strategic initiatives, providing risk and control design expertise.
- Monitor and assess the operational risk and control environment.
- Perform end-to-end issue/action plan workflows, including root cause analysis.
- Identify metrics to inform on the health of the operational risk environment.
- Drive strategic solutions to increase efficiency and resilience.
- Collaborate with senior business clients and partners across functions and geographies.
- Review regulatory changes and industry patterns to identify risks.
- Lead project delivery in response to firmwide, regulatory, and industry changes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Financial Services, Operational Risk Management, or Control Oversight.
- Ability to work in a digital-first environment, comfortable with new technologies and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional critical thinking, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to address conflicts and escalate issues appropriately.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead through change.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with data analytics and technology architecture.
- Experience generating presentations and executive communications.
- Knowledge of CIB and Commercial Bank products is preferable.
