Our rapid growth has created a need for a Contracts Specialist position. This role enables close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will serve as a key liaison between the Locus Robotics sales and contract teams, ensuring seamless capture of contract requirements and workflows from inception through execution. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance contract lifecycle management processes, drive efficiency, and support the company's growth by ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

This role is ideally a hybrid position based at our Wilmington, MA headquarters. However, for the right candidate, we would also consider a fully remote arrangement within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company’s contract database to enable tracking of pre-execution, executed, and fulfilled robotics deployments, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage customer NDAs, RaaS Agreements, and Sublicense Agreements within defined playbook guidelines, escalating non-standard terms for approval.
  • Track implementation events to support revenue recognition by correlating shipping and installation activities with invoicing.
  • Collaborate with finance, customer support, and manufacturing to monitor customer site statuses and enable timely revenue recognition.
  • Ensure schedules and contracts are drafted with 100% accuracy, addressing quantities, dates, pricing, and totals, while adhering to defined timelines.
  • Develop and implement improved processes for managing contract workflows and reporting, including automating where possible.
  • Support audits by providing requested contract data and confirmations within specified timeframes.
  • Synchronize data from various reporting sources to enhance company metric reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of systems for automating contract lifecycle management (CLM).
  • Track and manage contract negotiations by stage, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency across internal stakeholders.
  • Provide training on contract processes, drafting strategies, and system tools to enhance team efficiency and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management.
  • 5+ years of experience with proficiency in contract lifecycle management systems (CLM).
  • 5+ years of experience working with SaaS for data analytics and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar tools is a plus.
  • Proven ability to suggest and implement process improvements, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools; proficiency in AI-based tools for data extraction is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrates high standards in aligning with company values and ethical principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
