We are looking for a Contract Specialist to join the team here at Agilent!
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and self-managing individual to join a diverse and fast-paced organization providing contractual support and insight to enable Agilent’s business. In this role, you will create and manage contracts and provide contractual solutions to meet the business requirements of our key internal partners.
Contracts Specialists are responsible for delivering timely and accurate support to stakeholders on defined contracts type, requiring basic negotiation skills and the ability to understand and interpret Agilent standard customer and partner terms. Contract Specialists ensure compliance with local requirements (language, laws, government regulations, business standards and company policies) and may also review non-standard terms and conditions in customer purchase orders.
You will provide first point of contact support for contracts related inquiries, collaborate on projects and represent the Contracts organization on initiatives that involve CLM, SAP and other contracts systems and tools. You will also collaborate with Sales, Customer Operations Center, Field Compliance and other Agilent internal organizations to help solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
As a Contracts Specialist your key responsibilities will include:

Collaboration with Sales to allow accurate and timely contract creation and renewal/extension.

Contract creation, maintenance, and renewal, including obtaining approvals, creation of contractual documents, signature process, systems entry in SAP and internal communication.

Full ownership of assigned contracts in order to align with important deadlines, including all compliance and approval requirements.

Ownership for commercial content of agreements, including customer contact and negotiation where appropriate and drafting non-standard contract wording.

Management of contracts in the Contracts Lifecycle Management Tool.

Report creation in different reporting tools.

Review of non-standard terms and conditions for purchase orders.

First level consultation for contracts and terms & conditions questions to various internal organizations.

Collaboration with the Legal Organization for more complex negotiations.

Providing support for different projects impacting the Contracts Organization including data migration and system clean up.

Review and evaluation of customer confidentiality and non-disclosure Agreements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience

Ability to work independently to plan, prioritize workload, and solve problems

Demonstrated experience with Agilent Enterprise tools including SAP ECC

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Agilent Business Intelligence tools including SAP ECC reporting and Hana Spotfire

Excellent communication, influencing skills and teamwork

Fluency in French a plus
