Partner One Capital is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Legal Contract Specialist to review, redline, and negotiate software licensing agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating complex software licensing agreements (Term licenses, SaaS, subscriptions, services, etc.)
- Review and redline of intellectual property and data protection and transfer agreements
- Draft, review and redline data privacy and compliance documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including US, Canadian, and European, customer agreements, technology license agreements, subscription agreements, SaaS agreements, NDAs, and vendor and partner agreements.
- Work with colleagues to continuously improve contract processes as well as implementation and adherence to best practices within the company.
- 3 to 5 years experience in a contracts specialist role
- The candidate must have extensive experience in the drafting, review, redline and negotiation of software license agreements and IP protection.
- No legal diploma is required, nor is membership in a Bar association.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly digest complex information and make good, informed decisions
- Able to quickly review long licensing agreements and master service agreements
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to negotiate contracts successfully
- Can be based anywhere, all work is remote
