What’s on offer?

An opportunity has presented for a suitably experienced and self-motivated Contracts Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team based in Adelaide. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide specialist contractual and commercial advice across multiple projects, supporting our teams throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle.

Working closely with the estimating, operational, and legal teams, you will review and negotiate contracts, identify risks, and ensure compliance with company procedures. You will play a key role in safeguarding project outcomes while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Lead contract reviews, negotiations, and execution of documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Providing advice to senior management on contractual risks, obligations, and opportunities.
  • Liaise with in-house legal teams and clearly communicate contract positions to project teams.
  • Support Project Managers in managing variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
  • Assist with procurement, insurances, securities, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to support effective decision-making.
  • Contribute commercial and contractual input into business development and tender activities.

How you will connect to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an applicable discipline such as Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying
  • Prior working experience in a similar role
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, able to engage with people at levels both internally and externally

You will have the ability to quickly develop rapport and take ownership of commercial activities that will influence positive outcomes. With your experience in the Construction industry and operational expertise, you will be able to quickly understand areas of concern and risk.  Your ability to prioritise and problem solve will assist us in driving successful outcomes.
