Contracts Manager who will facilitate accurate and timely contractual reporting, scope, and financial deliverables control. The role will support the development, negotiation and execution of key contracts and subcontracts aligned to defense and government programs. This individual will be engaged in review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions, providing expertise in implementation execution, and administration of contracts, and maintaining contracts files. The Contracts Manager will manage the administration of assigned contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. This individual will also engage in the implementation of Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) business systems requirements.

  • Perform analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP) and work directives to synthesize and communicate key contractual terms and scope elements informing of pricing, proposal development and subcontracting activity
  • Perform contract administration to include contract modifications of terms and conditions to include price updates, timely submission of deliverable and contract reports, maintenance of contract files, and contract close out in accordance with corporate policies and contract requirements
  • Provide all forms of contract related support, including pricing, estimating, negotiations and financial support, contract award, administration and closeout
  • Participate in the development and implementation of processes, policies, and procedures related to contract administration, drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain contract tracking tools and dashboard reporting
  • Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure the proper billing of invoices in accordance with contract compliance and support the accounting staff in resolving contract payment dispute
  • Prepare contract briefs and coordinate with Project/Program Managers regarding contract compliance and execution requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
  • 7+ years of contract management experience in a federal government contracting environment
  • 2+ years of experience developing bids and proposals as a prime US Government contractor
  • 5+ years of experience developing and administering contracts with the US Government
  • Experience working with multiple contract types (firm fixed priced, time and material, cost type contracts, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense security clearance
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Cost Accounting Principles, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), Export Licensing, and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with customers
  • Skilled in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio etc.) and able to adapt quickly to new technologies deployed across the company to drive efficiencies
  • DCMA business systems and audit experience
