Abnormal Security is seeking our first Contracts Manager, Procurement to support our procurement function as part of the Commercial Legal team. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our procurement contract processes. You will oversee contract lifecycle management, negotiate vendor agreements, and ensure alignment between vendor contracts and company objectives while working closely with Procurement, Legal Operations, Finance, Security, and Business Units.
This role is essential to streamlining procurement workflows, ensuring compliance, and supporting a high-growth organization in scaling its vendor relationships effectively.

What you will do
In this role, you will be responsible for execution of procurement-focused activities. Your ability to do the following will drive your success as Contracts Manager, Procurement:
- Own execution of the procurement legal process from intake, resourcing, and execution, meeting or exceeding internal SLOs, and managing KPI tracking and reports
- Advise on, negotiate, and close a wide range of inbound contracts including software licensing, professional services, marketing, NDAs, ensuring that each is aligned with Legal Playbook
- Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of procurement transacting workflows in CLM platform -- each workflow should be specifically designed to capture approvals and metadata to improve contract visibility, compliance, and reporting.
- Regularly update and enhance the procurement legal playbooks, collaborating with procurement stakeholders to establish clear guidelines that enable certain contracts to bypass legal review, reducing the need for day-to-day legal involvement in routine transactions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, compliance, and business units to ensure contracts meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Train internal teams on procurement contract management policies and processes, ensuring understanding and adherence to company positions and best practices.
- Support additional contracts and projects outside of standard inbound agreements as needed.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts with at least 3 years at high growth cybersecurity or SaaS company(s).
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract terms, and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements related to procurement and contract management.
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound agreements in collaboration with Legal
- Proficiency with Google Docs, Gmail, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, CLM and other Legal Ops tools, and Slack
- Familiarity working across the globe, to support multiple time zones and cultures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

Base salary range:
$131,000—$155,000 USD
