Contracts Lifecycle Management Intern

Cask NX is seeking a motivated Contracts Lifecycle Management Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Contracts Management, Paralegal Studies, or Law who are eager to gain practical experience in a professional environment. As an intern, you will work closely with our Contracts Management team, assisting in reviewing, updating, and maintaining contract-related databases and systems. Your work will contribute to the effective management of our contracts lifecycle, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review, read, and interpret contract and legal terms to ensure accuracy and compliance 
• Assist in analyzing, updating, and managing our contract lifecycle management (CLM) system 
• Create and update contract groups and categories within the system to support organizational needs 
• Add and update new contract templates in accordance with legal and company standards 
• Collaborate with internal teams to support contract drafting and negotiation processes. 
• Maintain organized records and databases, ensuring that all contract-related information is easily accessible and up-to-date 
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline the contract management process and ensure seamless integration with IT systems 
• Provide support in special projects related to contract lifecycle management as needed

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Contracts Management, Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret legal and contract language
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with databases and contract management software 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Note: Base salary range is $20 USD to $25 per hour USD. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
