Administration OfficeJob SummaryUnder minimal supervision this role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of Epic systems with revenue cycle processes, supporting payor contract updates, and providing detailed financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis.
Essential Functions:
- Epic and Revenue Cycle Collaboration • Maintain and update Epic systems to ensure accurate alignment with revenue cycle processes for contracted commercial and Medicare MA health plans. • Collaborate with IT, revenue cycle, and operational teams to troubleshoot and resolve Epic-related issues. • Monitor system updates and implement necessary changes to support contract terms and billing workflows. (60%)
- Contract Updates and Renegotiations • Support the review, analysis, and renegotiation of payor contracts to ensure favorable terms. • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure contracts align with organizational goals. • Maintain documentation and update systems to reflect revised contract terms on an ongoing basis (15%)
- Contract Modeling and Financial Analysis • Develop detailed contract models to assess financial impact and support decision-making. • Conduct analyses of reimbursement rates, payment methodologies, and financial trends. • Prepare forecasts and reports to inform leadership and strategic planning. (20%)
- Ad-Hoc Projects (Supplementing Modeling) • Provide ad-hoc support to address urgent or unique issues related to contracts or financial performance. • Collaborate across departments to gather and interpret data for ad-hoc initiatives. (5%)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field Required
Work Experience:
- 7-9 years Proven experience in Epic systems, payor contracting, and revenue cycle operations Required
- Certification in Epic or related healthcare technology systems, preferred.
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data modeling tools and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and compliance requirements.
