We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Specialist who brings a proactive, business-focused mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, mitigating risk, and identifying opportunities to enhance both customer experience and business outcomes.

The Contract Specialist has a proactive, business-minded approach with strong critical thinking skills to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and drive value through sound decision-making. This individual will analyze complex scenarios and develop alternative solutions that improve outcomes and ensure accuracy.

The Contract Specialist is customer-focused with strong sales acumen and demonstrated leadership through influence, initiative, and mentorship to enhance experience and support revenue growth.

This position reports to the Manager, Contract Administration and is part of the Client Services department located in Brea, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and professional resolution of inquiries. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Coordinate with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and effortless customer experience
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including booking agreements, maintaining contract data, and ensuring compliance with billing, shipping, and contractual terms. Partner with Sales to support renewals, prevent expirations, enable new placements, and research, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to pricing and contract terms

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of contract experience or related field with proven ability in customer service, relationship building, and delivering high-quality outcomes (contract interpretation, understanding contract language)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with complex diagnostic contract structures and navigating ambiguity
  • Prior experience working with a sales team

The hourly range for this role is $34.00 - $38.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
