Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Contract Review Specialist to join our team immediately. This role will be responsible for managing a high volume of commercial contracts, including engineering, architectural, professional services, consulting, and related vendor and client agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong contract review, drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with experience developing and maintaining contract management processes and systems.
This position will work closely with internal business stakeholders, project teams, procurement, finance, and management to facilitate efficient contract review and administration while ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and process a high volume of commercial contracts and related documents.
- Draft, revise, and negotiate contract terms, amendments, renewals, work orders, and related agreements.
- Identify contractual risks and escalate complex legal issues to in-house or outside counsel when appropriate.
- Coordinate contract reviews with business stakeholders and ensure timely turnaround of agreements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a centralized contract management system, including contract tracking, reporting, and document retention processes.
- Maintain contract templates, standard clauses, and negotiation playbooks.
- Track contract obligations, milestones, expiration dates, renewals, insurance requirements, and other critical terms.
- Assist in developing and improving contract workflows, approval processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Support procurement, project management, and business teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Maintain organized contract records and provide reporting on contract status and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of contract review, contract administration, contract management, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Experience working with engineering, architectural, consulting, professional services, construction-related, or similar agreements.
- Strong contract drafting and contract interpretation skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
- Law degree is not required.
- Experience implementing or managing a contract lifecycle management (CLM) or contract management system.
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, or professional services organizations.
- Familiarity with procurement and vendor management processes.
- Paralegal certification or related business, contract management, or procurement credentials.

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000-$78,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
