World Travel Holdings is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to provide recruiting services in support of a short-term hiring initiative. In this approximately 2-month contract engagement, you will collaborate with hiring leaders and Human Resources to identify, attract, and present qualified candidates for a variety of corporate and technology-related positions. This is a remote, U.S.-based independent contractor (1099/W-9) opportunity.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with hiring leaders to develop a thorough understanding of assigned openings, including required skills, experience, competencies, and preferred candidate profiles.
- Manage candidate pipelines and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Proactively source and engage prospective candidates through a variety of recruiting channels and networks.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements.
- Conduct phone screenings using behavioral-based interviewing techniques and present qualified candidates to hiring leaders.
- Provide a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide candidate market insights and hiring recommendations to support selection decisions.
- Support offer discussions and candidate acceptance activities in partnership with hiring leaders and Human Resources.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth transition for newly hired employees.
- Maintain accurate and timely recruiting records and documentation.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including recruiting for corporate and/or technology positions.
- Demonstrated success sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems; iCIMS experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and internet-based recruiting tools.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Capacity to provide recruiting services equivalent to approximately 30 hours per week during the engagement period.
