You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Contract Manufacturing Recruiter is responsible for planning and executing recruiting activities for hourly manufacturing professionals to include Production Associates, Operators, Maintenance, Electricians and Front Line Leaders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sourcing and recruitment efforts for high volume recruiting needs for the Chicago Bakery. This role will build relationships and work closely with Hiring Managers to define sourcing strategies, gather and understand the position requirements to effectively identify talent that is aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role. When partnering with the hiring manager, the manufacturing recruiter will serve as a primary source of recruitment advice, consultation and education on best practices to fill roles in the most efficient and effective way possible.
The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position opening through offer acceptance and onboarding. This person will develop and execute progressive integrated recruitment solutions using multiple avenues including direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs, targeted advertising, college and community outreach. The recruiter will manage internal and external job posting procedures, capturing applicant flow accurately and consistently leveraging the applicant tracking system (WorkDay). This role is accountable to ensuring that all recruitment procedures are consistent for all positions to ensure compliance with EEOC recruitment and selection records retention requirements. The Recruiter will utilize their influencing, interpersonal, selling and closing skills to encourage candidates to accept a Mondelēz International offer as an Employer of Choice.
Skills and Responsibilities

  • Source active and passive candidates from various resources, including, direct sourcing, employee referrals, traditional media, job fairs, chamber of commerce and internet job boards.
  • Accountable for creating and maintaining diversity, veteran and disability focused recruitment strategies to generate a diverse slate of talent for each role.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies to create brand awareness to target passive and active candidates.
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting processes to include sourcing, engaging the candidate, interviewing and closing candidates for entry level sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with external partnerships to include community contacts, college officials and local professionals.
  • Maintain and build stronger partnerships with sales managers to understand their hiring needs to ensure staffing goals.
  • Understand the operations of assigned sales territory in regards to the deployment/scheduling needs, forecasting seasonal hiring, training and mentor programs


Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of full life cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, hourly recruiting, or industrial recruiting.
  • Fluent in using web-based recruiting tools (WorkDay is a plus), including social media, job boards and applicant tracking tools along with the ability to effectively market positions to target qualified candidates.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint or similar office software is required.
  • Ability to source passive candidates to include cold calling and building relationships by phone. Building & executing local sourcing and attraction strategy.
  • Proven track record in working in a centralized, high volume, on-line recruiting function preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong partnerships with hiring managers and human resource partner to understand the needs and execute the work.
  • Strong process management skills, detail orientation and time management skills. Must have demonstrated experience in prioritizing workload demands.


Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma required - Bachelor Degree preferred
