ERG’s Facilities Planning and Engineering team seeks an experienced Contract Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality assurance processes and ensure our products and services meet the highest standards. This position will involve working closely with program managers, project teams, and other stakeholders to monitor, report, and enhance the quality of deliverables, documents, and products. The successful candidate will join our growing team, focusing on quality work and fostering collaborative, long-term relationships with our clients and within our team.

Job Description:

  • Serve as a quality resource for the team, sharing best practices and quality resources
  • Monitor and report on quality across projects, identifying challenges in implementing quality practices
  • Assist with the development of checklists associated with each deliverable, service, and contract type
  • Assist in identifying necessary staff or other resources to address quality-related issues
  • Maintain open communication with senior managers within the team
  • Notify appropriate staff of identified quality issues, including Project Managers, Program Managers, Group Managers, and the ERG Quality Manager
  • Regularly meet with Program Managers to discuss typical contract deliverables, their locations, and the typical levels of review required
  • Familiarize yourself with the contract Quality Management Plans (QMP) and the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
  • Assist in writing, editing, and improving progress reports and other quality-related memorandums
  • Review deliverables to ensure alignment with quality plans
  • Design and implement documentation for monitoring quality metrics, such as collecting client feedback and tracking quality performance
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency across all stages of production
  • Provide periodic technical writing audits and training across the team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least five years of relevant experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage an active portfolio of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
  • Experience with quality metrics, data analysis, and developing documentation to monitor and report on quality performance
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, CQA) and process improvement experiences are a plus
  • Proven ability to utilize Microsoft products (Team, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance
