This is a three-month, hourly Office Assistant contract role based onsite in Chesterfield, MO.

Hours for this position: Monday 8:00am-4:00pm, and Tuesday through Friday: 10:00am-6:00pm

The Workplace Services team, part of the People & Culture team, is dedicated to delivering a top-notch employee experience for Blink.

A successful Workplace Services Office Assistant is an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication and customer service skills, ideally in an office setting. You feel at ease interacting with employees at all levels and carry out administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.

In this role, you will contribute to creating a positive and engaging office environment, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among team members. You will play a vital role in enhancing the employee experience across Blink.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as creating mailing labels, fulfilling office supply requests, and coordinating maintenance requests with building management.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Oversee the reception area for employees, candidates, and visitors.
  • Manage office supply inventory, including kitchen supplies and ordering fulfillment pharmacy supply requests.
  • Set up workstations for new hires and conduct office tours.
  • Assist with desk relocations.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Execute small in-office celebrations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and better office management.
  • Cultivate trust and encourage teamwork within the organization

Desired Qualities and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Office Manager, Facilities or Workplace Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, overseeing day-to-day office operations, coordinating vendors, supplies, and workspace logistics in a professional setting.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner who proactively identifies and addresses needs and takes initiative throughout the workspace.
  • Excellent customer service skills for interacting with employees, candidates, and office visitors.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various administrative tasks effectively.
  • Ability to manage office supply inventory and fulfill requests efficiently.
  • Proficiency using Slack and Google Workplace/G Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment.
  • Capable of handling physical tasks, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to obtain Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri is required.
