Contract PERM Specialist 

 

Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a Contract PERM Specialist to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity, for up to 20 hours per week.  

 

Primary Responsibilities for the Role: 

  • Oversee and manage PERM cases ready for filing, including the review of the supporting PERM recruitment documentation, supporting letters, and the preparation and drafting of PERM filings. 

  • Use extreme care and excellent attention to detail and quality to draft PERM Labor Certification forms, audit responses, and RFEs for filings with the USCIS. 

  • Compile and analyze case facts, draft correspondence, and maintain and organize client documentation. 

  • Review supporting PERM documentation with careful attention to detail to ensure high-quality filings and support to attorneys. 

  • Maintain direct contact with multiple Attorneys, Foreign National clients, and in-house Global Mobility Managers. 

  • Reports to Attorneys, Case Managers, and/or other relevant leaders. 

 Qualification Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of professional working experience as a paralegal preparing high-volume and high-quality PERM applications. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of PERM recruitment requirements and 9089 Form drafting.  

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize. 

  • Ability to generate work products with considerable accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Works independently toward team goals. 

  • Outstanding case/project management skills. 

  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), including actively listening. 

  • Works well in a team environment. 

  • Strong team focus that assists in fostering a sense of community within the firm. 

  • Multi-tasking and fulfilling daily responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment. 

  • Accepts and adapts to feedback regarding work performance. 

  • Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms. 

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. 

  • Proficient in case management systems - VisaTrax, INSZoom, LawLogix and other document management systems. 

 

Skills Required
