Role Summary:
Marketo Administrator responsible (Contract) for the day-to-day management and operational health of our Marketo instance. Partners closely with the Marketing Operations team to ensure continuity of campaign execution, lead management, and system integrations during the primary admin’s maternity leave.
Contract duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and administer the Marketo instance — user management, workspace configuration, database health, and system hygiene
• Build, QA, and deploy marketing campaigns (emails, nurture programs, smart campaigns, landing pages)
• Maintain and troubleshoot lead scoring models and lifecycle/routing rules
• Manage Marketo <> Salesforce sync, monitor sync errors, and resolve data flow issues
• Partner with Data Quality team for data and error clean up
• Support the Marketing Ops team with campaign requests, list imports, segmentation, and reporting
• Monitor deliverability, bounce management, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
• Maintain program templates, tokens, and folder structure per team standards
• Produce recurring reports and dashboards on campaign performance and funnel metrics
• Document any system changes or process updates for handback to the returning team member
Requirements:
• 3+ years hands-on Marketo administration experience
• Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) preferred
• Experience with Marketo <> Salesforce CRM integration
• Solid understanding of lead lifecycle, scoring, and attribution models
• Comfortable with HTML/CSS for email and landing page edits
• Strong communication skills — will partner directly with the Marketing Ops team and stakeholders across marketing and sales
• Self-directed, able to maintain operational rhythm without heavy supervision
Nice to Have:
• Experience with marketing ops tooling beyond Marketo
• Familiarity with revenue operations workflows and sales handoff processes
