Key Responsibilities
Contract Management & Compliance
- Adjust the subcontracting strategy in dynamic market, implement of subcontractor sourcing and bidding
- Manage the full contract lifecycle including review, negotiation, execution, administration, and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Act as the primary contractual point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Commercial & Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage contractual risks and opportunities; proactively advise project and management teams.
- Drive commercial negotiations related to variations, claims, and contractual entitlements.
- Protect company revenue, margin, and commercial position throughout project execution.
Change Orders, Claims & Disputes
- Manage contract variations, change orders, extensions of time, and pricing adjustments.
- Prepare and review contractual notices, claims, and responses; support dispute resolution and negotiations.
- Coordinate with Legal where formal disputes or escalations arise.
Cross‑Functional Support
- Report to Project Managers subcontracting awarding progress.
- Coordinate with Finance on invoicing, payment milestones, indexation, and final account settlement.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in key project meetings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to project and business stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Master’s degree or legal qualification is an advantage
Experience
- 10 years of relevant experience in contract management, commercial management, or project procurement
- Experience in EPC, construction, industrial, energy, or large-scale project environments preferred
- Proven experience handling complex contracts, variations, and claims
