Job Summary:

In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for the Vizient contract process and related eSourcing and Contract Management platforms. You will serve as a strategic advisor to Category Managers and senior leadership, providing expert guidance on best practices, sourcing tools, and contracting strategies to drive high-quality, value-driven contracts. As a trusted consultant, you will collaborate across business lines and engage with leaders at all levels to support strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Category Managers, providing expertise and best practices for the Vizient contracting process, technology, and eSourcing tools.

• Support Category Managers to ensure the success of supplier negotiations and strategic relationships.

• Manage multiple low to moderate-complexity bids with minimal supervision.

• Coordinate with risk mitigation departments to ensure processes related to contract management are aligned.

• Engage with various cross-functional partners to develop strategies for clients to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with Category Managers to design and optimize sourcing events, leveraging industry knowledge and data-driven insights to achieve the best outcomes.

• Ensure strict adherence to the contracting process while upholding compliance excellence, mitigating risks, and maintaining regulatory and policy alignment.

• Foster proficiency and continuous improvement in sourcing and contract management applications to effectively support Vizient’s business processes.

• Develop and deliver training programs to internal and external stakeholders on best practices and technology for eSourcing and contract lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, with strong reporting and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience presenting to diverse audiences.

• Skilled in coaching, training, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions to complex challenges.

• Strong relationship builder, with a track record of fostering strategic partnerships across teams and organizations.

• Familiarity with healthcare sourcing or procurement and experience with e-Sourcing software is a plus.

• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
