Join Maxis as a Contract Management Intern and gain hands-on experience in contract lifecycle management, legal operations, and business support within the telecommunications industry. In this role, you will assist with contract administration, document management, data accuracy, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with the Contract Management team to support efficient and compliant contract operations.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Document Management: Support the organization, filing, and archiving of executed contracts, amendments, and supporting documents using AI tools and the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. Ensure proper version control and maintain accurate digital contract repositories.
Contract Data Management: Assist in entering and maintaining contract metadata within the CLM system, ensuring information such as contract dates, parties, values, and key obligations are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Contract Review Support: Under supervision, assist in reviewing standard contracts and extracting key contractual terms such as payment conditions, termination clauses, confidentiality provisions, governing law, and other predefined information for reporting and documentation purposes.
Research & Due Diligence: Conduct preliminary legal and business research by utilizing internal systems, public databases, company websites, and other reliable sources to support contract assessments, risk evaluation, and negotiation activities.
Administrative & Stakeholder Support: Provide administrative support by preparing reports and presentations, coordinating meetings, drafting routine communications, managing stakeholder follow-ups, and tracking important contract milestones and deadlines.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Law, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new digital platforms and contract management systems.
Research & Data Management: Strong research capabilities with excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling contract documentation, data entry, and record management.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and prepare clear business documentation.
Analytical & Organisational Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
Professional Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive contractual information.
Value-Added Project Opportunity
As part of your internship, you will contribute to the CLM Optimization Initiative: Enhancing Stakeholder Engagement & Approval Workflows within LEHA/SFDC. This project focuses on improving the efficiency of Maxis' Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes by identifying opportunities to enhance stakeholder collaboration, approval workflows, and overall contract lifecycle management capabilities. You will gain valuable exposure to process improvement, system optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
