Job Description
As Contract Logistics Manager, you will:
- Support and drive assigned customer supply chain development projects across different sales channels. Build a team of professional solutions personnel that will drive the “operational excellence” of the TGF Supply Chain Services.
- Strategically engage in the sales cycle with Sales team to meet potential and existing customers to evaluate, build and deliver the “Best Fit” solution.
- Actively contribute to the TGF South China & Hong Kong leadership team and build strong credibility to expand the 3PL portfolio
- Attend and contribute to strategic development of TGF, regular meetings with internal Management to discuss and deliver on growth plan
- Analyze and evaluates data and information about markets, trends, external environment and company capabilities, goals and strategy to develop recommendations to the client.
- Review and interprets cost and pricing models of the client solution and explain these to the client and make recommendations to client based on the models result.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
Knowledge/Experience
- 7+ years’ solid experience managing/developing complex & large-scale global solutions projects
- Solid understanding of HK contract logistics business, and capable of working across a geographically dispersed workforce
- Able to work across cultures, understand how each culture thinks and deal effectively with cultural differences
- Demonstrated understanding of client relationships based around product expertise and deep understanding of local operating conditions
- Possess knowledge of products, benefits, competitive environment, and customer requirements within that industry vertical. Explain strategy for a given product/service; identify business opportunities; customize product/service usage to a specific customers’ needs
- Possess knowledge of supply chain systems, and relationship of the flow of goods, information and funds in the supply chain. Understand and identify appropriate supply chain system applications for the solution required.
- Possess knowledge of the current business methods and principles, business planning and project management, understand and apply information about economic indicators and fundamental drivers of short term and long term financial health and stability, develop and modify business plans and recommend process improvements.
